Arrived in Boston and transferred to the Radisson hotel which is in the threatre district near Boston Common. Went for a walk around the Common and the Threatre area and China Town. Very hot again so back to the hotel till dinner time. Spotted a Thai on our walk so went there for dinner. Nice meal.
Today we went on the hop on and hop off bus around Boston. Starting at 9am we explored the Back Bay area, then Cambridge, the Seaport District then Charlestown where we went on the USS Constitution and another WW11 Frigate. Back on bus and into the Government Centre where we hopped off to explore market area and some of the walking historical trail. Feet now swollen and hot so back on the bus and back to the hotel (4pm) for a little break before dinner.
Love Boston, obviously the old historic towns are far more my style than the hustle and bustle of New York. Even though its a public holiday today it hasn't been too busy compared to NY.
This is our last stop of the trip. Tomorrow we start on the 36 hr trek home. Not looking forward to that!
Di and Alan enjoy your last day in the US of A. I hope the flight home isn't too gruelling.
